The Manse
The Manse was built in the 1970s and is in a quiet residential estate in Tarves. It has just been refurbished and extended. It is comfortable and spacious, with a large lounge, dining/family area leading to a fully-fitted kitchen, study, 4 bedrooms (1 en suite), bathroom, cloakroom, utility room, and a partially floored loft. The Manse is double glazed with oil central heating. There is a good sized garden enclosed by hedging and a double garage. There is disabled access throughout. Have a look here.

Our strengths
Outreach: we have strong support from the village and surrounding areas in fellowship and friendship. Many members of the community who don’t normally come to Church, regularly come to breakfasts, soup + sweet events and coffee mornings and we have welcomed many new families to their very own form of worship - Messy Church.
Enthusiasm: we are committed to providing service for as many age groups as we can, and have the enthusiasm to develop new ways of inviting people to our Church. We need one special person to lead us and we will follow with enthusiasm, energy and prayer.
Our challenges.
Elderly congregation: we have loyal members who have been involved with the Church for most of their lives and we value their experience and dedication. However we would welcome new visitors to Church who can compliment this age group and learn from them why God has been so important to them over the years. Lunch at Messy Church has been a great way of getting people together.
Refreshing membership: Tarves has a membership of 264 of which only about 20% attend Church, We have regained some members over the last 2 years, but we would like to refresh the interest of more of those who have lapsed and restore their faith.
